How Video Games Changed My Life

The moment someone picks up their first video game and plays it is a memory that lasts them a lifetime. Although some had the luxury of getting into video games at a young age, I was unable to until the age of 15. The first system I recall ever getting my hands on was a PlayStation 4 and then later into PC gaming. During that time until 23, I played many story based games that led me on journey's through vast and sometimes chaotic worlds. Although I cannot remember my first every story based game, I remember a few that left me speechless and even broke my heart. The Life Is Strange series is one of the few I remember my initial reaction and had many questions rather than answers. I remember wanting to tell all my friends about the story and how they should play it but never had many gamer friends to talk to about any of them. Now this blog won't just be me fangirling over every single game I played and enjoyed or didn't even enjoy. It is more or less based around initial reactions, feelings, the story and world around the game itself and possible wants for hopefully some future games in series.

Although I know the term "story-based" is bit broad in terms of what it can or cannot consist of , like how the game Mass Effect: Legendary Edition falls under RPG (role-playing-game), choices matter, sci-fi, and action my goal is to really talk about the journey of some games and their impact. Not all due to the fact there are thousands of video games and each has a different effect on each player.
